There is nothing like not having control over your mental and emotional state. At times, you can feel defeated mentally and emotionally. I have been there. You want peace and calm in your mind and your emotions. Sometimes you are alone, and you need a simple prayer. You want peace to calm your mind and nerves because of whatever situation or circumstance. You need to cry and lay before the lord for help in a time of trouble. Sometimes you do not have the words to say. I have been there. I found a prayer book that I have used for over ten years.
