2 Timothy 2:15 KJV  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Acts 17: 11 KJV These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

2 Timothy 3:15-16 KJV 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Hebrews 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalms 1:2  KJV 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Joshua 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

How to study the word of God?

    1. Ask for forgiveness for whatever you did to offend the Father in Jesus Christ Name.
    2. Clear your mind.
    3. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation and understanding of God’s word.
    4. Learn what the words mean in the scripture.
    5. Take your time. (quality time is more important than quantity of scriptures)
    6. Meditate on the scriptures.
    7. Read the scripture out loud.
    8. Purchase a study bible. Thompson Chain (my recommendation)
    9. Purchase bible Vine’s dictionary (my recommendation)
    10. Strong’s exhausted concordance (my recommendation)
    11. Purchase different translations of the bible.
    12. Purchase a book on how to study.
    13. Fast and Pray.
